A a comfortable self contained 3 bedroom,
3 bathroom house accommodating 6 adults and a small child/baby.

There is off street parking for a number of cars as well as table and chairs on the pretty south/west facing terrace. Free wifi is available throughout the house.

→ The house is available for a minimum stay of 1 night during the week and a minimum of 2 nights during weekend, plus a £40 exit cleaning fee (whole house bookings), a short let, a Monday to Friday Room Only basis with use of the kitchen and lounge. 


→ Saffron Walden is within easy reach of Stansted Airport, Cambridge, Newmarket, Duxford and London

Meet Agnes your host

Agnes was born and raised in Saffron Walden, and after spending several years living abroad in India and Budapest, she eventually returned to the town that means so much to her. Now raising her three young children here, she feels incredibly fortunate to share this beautiful corner of Essex with guests.

In 2025, Agnes took over Saffron Coach House and has brought fresh energy and warm, thoughtful hospitality to the property. Her time overseas shaped her appreciation for good hospitality and the comfort of feeling truly at home, no matter where you are. Agnes has poured that experience into creating a cosy, welcoming space for visitors to relax.

She loves recommending her favourite local walks, cafés, and hidden spots. Nothing makes her happier than knowing guests feel comfortable, cared for, and able to enjoy their stay in this lovely town.

The Saffron Coach House is a comfortable, self-contained 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom house accommodating six adults and a small child or baby. Features include:

Booking Policy

    • Bookings are confirmed once full payment (or the agreed deposit) has been received.

    • Guests must provide accurate contact details and the names of all staying guests.

    • The person making the booking must be over 21 and is responsible for all members of the part

    • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

    • A £45 exit cleaning fee applies to all wholehouse bookings.

    • Any additional charges (e.g., damages, extra cleaning) will be invoiced after departure.

    • Whole House bookings can be cancelled up to 7 days or more before arrival: full refund.

    • Room Bookings can be cancelled within 48 hours

    • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival: nonrefundable.

    • Noshows or early departures are charged in full.

    • We recommend guests take out travel insurance to cover unexpected changes.

    • Normal Checkin 10:00

    • Normal Checkout 16:00

    • Early checkin or late checkout may be available on request but cannot be guaranteed.

    • Maximum occupancy: 6 adults + 1 small child/baby.

    • Only registered guests may stay overnight.

    • Parties, events, or gatherings beyond the registered group are not permitted.

    • The house is entirely selfcontained and for your exclusive use.

    • The owner lives onsite should you need assistance, recommendations, or help during your stay.

    • Guests must treat the property with respect and leave it in a reasonable condition.

    • Dogs are welcome by prior agreement only and must follow our Dog Policy.

    • Any petrelated damage or extra cleaning will be charged accordingly.

    • Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the property.

    • Guests may smoke outside but must dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.

    • Please report any damage or breakages as soon as possible.

    • Significant damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning will incur additional charges.

    • Guests are responsible for securing the property during their stay.

    • Children must be supervised at all times.

    • Emergency contact details are provided in the house information folder.

    • We reserve the right to refuse a booking or terminate a stay without refund if guests breach the booking policy, behave inappropriately, or cause disturbance to neighbours.
